#5. OSBORN. Would like wives’ names with dates, if possible, of the sons of Sergeant Samuel Osborn, (born Fairfield, 1680) and Hannah Couch. Sons were: Daniel, Thaddeus, Joseph and Jeremiah. Did any of these sons or grandsons move to Jersey and when?

#1130. 5. OSBORN. A.C.D.G., Oct. 17, 1923. Sergeant Samuel Osborn married, first, Abigail, daughter of Samuel Smith, who died Aug. 5, 1724, age about forty-four. He married, second, Hannah, daughter of Simon Couch, born May 3 [8?], 1696, married Nov. 4, 1724. Samuel Osborn, died April 2, 1752. Hannah died Aug. 30, 1774, in seventy-sixth year. The gravestones to both are in the cemetery. Children by Abigail Smith: Samuel, baptized Jan. 2, 1703; Hannah, baptized same date; Abigail, baptized April 27, 1707, married Eleazer Sturgis; Anne, baptized July 15, 1711; Sarah, baptized Nov. 29, 1713; by Hannah - - Daniel, baptized Oct. 31, 1725, married Elizabeth Burr; Thaddeus, born Dec. 1, 1726; Eunice, born Feb. 16, 1726-7, baptized March 24, 1728, married Dec. 11, 1751, Colonel David Burr; Abigail, born Sept. 1, 1729, married Eleazer Sturgis; Isabell, born Feb. 1, 1731; Joseph, born Feb. 22, 1733, died Oct. 4, 1776, in his forty-fourth year; Jeremiah, born Sept. 30, 1734, died Oct. 8, 1757, in his twenty-fourth year; Mary, Aug. 8, 1736; Ellen, Feb. 8, 1738; Martha, May 17, 1739, died March 7, 1788.
